Progress of blood purification treatment for nervous system diseases

Abstract:

In recent years, blood purification therapy has been clinically widely used, which can, through the non-renal pathway, eliminate from the blood metabolic waste, toxins, antibodies, immune complexes, drugs, and other harmful and disease-causing substances out of the body, so as to achieve the purpose of treating diseases. Currently, the blood purification therapy has also become increasingly concerned about in treatment of nervous system diseases, as it can remove nervous system diseases-related inflammatory factors, antibodies, and pathogenic substances, significantly relieving neuropsychiatric symptoms of the patients, and thus opening up new therapeutic approaches for nervous system diseases.
