Abstract:

Nuclear energy, also known as atomic energy, is the nuclear power released when nucleons redistribute. It is a new type of energy in the world with the characteristics of less pollution, lower cost, and easier transportation. But the radioactive pollution caused by nuclear leakage is harmful to the human health. The kidney is one of the most sensitive organs to nuclear radiation. Long-term chronic radiation may increase the incidence of renal cell carcinomas. Here, the mechanism of renal cell carcinoma induced by nuclear radiation was reviewed.

Key words: Nuclear radiation, Renal cell carcinoma, Mechanism
