Abstract:

Nephritic syndrome (NS) is a modern disease which is relevant to the concept of "edema" or "lumbar pain" in traditional Chinese medicine theory. This paper summarized the thoughts on TCM syndrome diagnosis of NS in different perspectives, including the phasing diagnosis of TCM syndromes, staging diagnosis of TCM syndromes, zang-fu organs diagnosis of TCM syndromes, and secondary-excess-syndrome diagnosis of TCM syndromes, etc, so as to provide evidence for the TCM syndrome-differentiation treatment of NS.
