Current situation and thinking of scientific research ability in standardized training of resident doctors in nephrology

Abstract:

Nephrology is a frontier discipline with interdisciplinary integration. The pathogenesis of kidney disease is complex and diverse. The progress of its clinical diagnosis and treatment needs to be promoted by scientific research achievements. In the standardized training of nephrology residents, higher requirements are put forward for the scientific research ability of the trainees. However, due to the busy clinical work, many of the trainees lack sufficient time and energy to participate in the systematic scientific research training. Based on the characteristics of nephrology, this paper discussed how to improve the scientific research ability of the trainees from the aspects of raising clinical problems, cultivating scientific research thinking, strengthening basic scientific research practice, changing teaching methods, and carrying out academic exchange activities.
