The start and stop timing of continuous renal replacement therapy in critically ill patients

Abstract:

Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) is a newly developed method of blood purification technology, based on intermittent hemodialysis. It is widely used in the treatment of various critical care diseases due to its continuous and slow clearance of blood solute and hemodynamic stability.In this article, the indications for CRRT application and when to start or terminate the treatment are reviewed.
